Fields of Interest
My research interests lie at the intersection of political science and communication studies, primarily in the areas of public opinion, the mass media, and American foreign policy. My dissertation research involved an examination of differences in opinion regarding U.S. foreign policy between policy leaders and the general public. I am also interested in the use of propaganda, political communication through the mass media, and the role of power and class in the distribution and control of information.
