BETA COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is founded on the ideal of providing service to all mankind.  The international Program theme for 2002-2006 is "THE SPIRIT OF ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA". The focus is on Education. The five areas included in the International Program and implemented in the Ivy AKAdemy are:

Target I -   Education
Target II -  The Black Family
Target III -  Health
Target IV - Economics
Target V -  The Arts

BETA IN ACTION

Sorors from Beta Chapter have been involved in a variety of projects help the community, from participating in the Y-ME Breast Cancer Walk to hosting health fairs and workshops on the importance of academic excellence.  Below are just a few photos of Beta sorors in action.
