Academic Support Network Tutoring

A primary goal of the Academic Support Network is to provide tutoring to students who have failed exams. Tutors are recruited on a volunteer basis at the beginning of each academic year. They are students who have honored or done well in the respective class/clerkship.

The UIC Office of Student Affairs will contact students who have received a score below the pass level on an exam with information on contacting the ASN for tutoring. However, if you would like tutoring and failed an exam, please don't hesitate to contact the current AΩA or CMSC president to request tutoring.

All tutoring is confidential and free of charge.

It is up to the student and tutor to determine the most effective method to learn the class material.
