Schedules are significantly different between students with ~16 weeks of basic specialties, a medicine sub-internship (4 weeks), and 20 weeks of electives required. Students are also busy applying to residency programs. Many students choose to spend 4 weeks clerkships at institutions where they desire a residency.
The basic specialities include:

Dermatology (2 weeks)
Otolaryngology (2 weeks)
Orthopedic surgery (2 weeks)
Urology (2 weeks)
