For Step 2, I spent about two weeks doing practice questions. The Appleton & Lange Step 2 Review was very helpful; the questions were similar in nature to those on the exam, and good explanations were given for the answers. If a question came up that confused me, I would try to review the topic in another reference. I thought that studying by doing questions was more efficient and more tolerable than trying to review each subject.
