UIC Psychology Department MPA Undergraduate
Research Presentation Awards
Did you submit a proposal
to give a presentation at the Midwestern
Psychological Association (MPA) meeting to be
held this May at the Palmer House in Chicago?
If so then you qualify for an MPA Research
Award for UIC Undergraduates!!!
At the request of the Psi
Chi Honor Society, the UIC Department of
Psychology has initiated a set of Research
Awards that will pay for student registration
costs at MPA for up to 20 undergraduates who
are first authors on presentations. Psi Chi is
very happy that the Psychology Department is
supporting our undergraduates in this way!
Note, these awards are open to all Psychology
Students -- not just Psi Chi members.
If you submitted a
first-author presentation to either the MPA
regular program or the Psi Chi poster session,
you are eligible for this award!
To apply for this award,
please send an email to the Psi Chi Faculty Advisor,
Dr. Benjamin Storm (bstorm@uic.edu). In a word document attached to
your email, please list the title of your
presentation, the list of authors, and the short
abstract (under 50 words) that was submitted .
Congratulations
to the new members of Phi Beta Kappa!
Congratulations to
our outstanding students graduating with
Phi Beta Kappa, the
nations oldest academic honor society.
Many many thanks to all those who have supported
them
through this process: our faculty and graduate
students, our wonderful
advisors, Stuart Robinson and Esther
Pandian-Riske, Jenny Wiley, Psi Chi
faculty advisor, and staff. We should all be very
very proud.
