Psi Chi Scholarship Competition
All UIC Senior Psi Chi Members are eligible to submit an essay on:
THE TOP FIVE THINGS I WISH I KNEW AS A SOPHOMORE
The goal of this contest is to generate a collection of good advice
for
future and current psychology Majors and Minors at UIC.
The three top essays will win awards of $100, $50, and $25.
Please limit your submissions to 1000 words.
Essays are due May 11 to Jason Braasch, Psi Chi Graduate Student Advisor

Fall 2009 MatchMaker
On the first Friday of each Fall and Spring Semester, Psi Chi hosts
a "Matchmaker" to connect undergraduates with Psychology research labs
who are looking for research assistants. To learn more about the research
opportunities available, see the "What is 396?"
and "Research Opportunities" links to the
left.
Fall 2009 Matchmaker will be held on Friday August 28th. The
event is usually held after 3pm. Check here for a location after
August 15th.

Officers for the following school year are nominated and voted on by
the membership with the goal of announcing new officers at induction, and
holding a transition meeting before school ends.

New members are inducted in an official ceremony each Spring.
All members, inductees and their family and representatives from the Psychology
Department are welcome! Inductees will receive an honors cord for
their graduation honors.
