My KAUSE is to promote Korean American Awareness as well as to volunteer my services to the community to the best of my ability. With KAUSE I will overcome the overplayed injustices Korean Americans as well as Asian Americans endured in this country. Also to educate ourselves about the great contributions Korean Americans had in building this great country we call the United States of America.

My KAUSE is to revolutionize. I was never involved with any organization when I was younger and finally this year, I realized that being a part of KAUSE, I can make a difference among my friends and in my college campus. I definitely think that my involvement in KAUSE as the programming director last year has built up my character as a person. As this year's Vice President, I hope to see more people get involved and plan for many exciting events that will build the Korean American community here at UIC.

My KAUSE is to find balance and harmony among the millions of small cliques out there. I believe everyone is the same even though there are a lot of different types. We only come from different backgrounds and have seen different things, that's all. Overall, as people, whether you're a gangster, nerd, a fake reject, or even a wanksta, I believe we all share the same conscience.

My KAUSE is to make a difference, big or small, and impact this campus in one way or another through this group. I want to motivate other people to realize the potential of Korean Americans on and off campus the way I have this past semester. I feel that I have yet to fulfill my role to satisfaction as an active board member, but I am going to try my best this year and get more people on this campus involved with this awesome club.
