The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association is a national medical student organization dedicated to the advocacy of quality healthcare for the rapidly growing APA community through education and volunteer initiatives. National projects include Hepatitis B intervention and immunization programs and bone marrow donor recruitment drives.

Here at UIC, our mission includes serving the diverse APA communities of Chicago as well as enriching the experiences of all of our members. Some of our major projects include community health fairs and education outreach in the city’s public schools. We also recruit speakers to come and address issues relevant to the APA community.
