Pediatric Interest Group

Co-President: Liz Sokol

Pediatrics Interest Group is a club that gives medical students the opportunity to explore the variety of options that pediatric medicine has to offer. Meetings are generally held during the lunch hour and food is usually provided. A variety of topics are covered from Pediatric ICU to residency programs via a panel discussion. In addition to lunchtime discussions, members are given the opportunity to participate in volunteer projects that encourage personal patient interaction such as taking UIH Peds patients trick-or-treating. The Pediatric Interest Group promises to be an exciting opportunity for all types of medical students.
