The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is an organization, which is dedicated to providing service to under served communities. Through the implementation of various protocols the SNMA is key to increasing the levels of minority student recruitment, admissions and retention in schools training health professionals. Specifically, the UIC-SNMA chapter is one of the largest in the Midwest with many opportunities to become involved in community service projects. Any and all who believe in fulfilling the mission statement of the SNMA are welcome to join this illustrious organization.
