The Global Health Interest Group (GHIG) is a student organization formed by students at the University of Illinois at Chicago - College of Medicine (UIC COM). We are committed to

• promoting increased awareness of international health issues,
• providing student exposure to the international health work of UIC COM faculty and staff,
• and facilitating international health opportunities to students.

GHIG began this year in hopes of providing a single organized resource for medical students to find international health opportunities and efforts provided by the diverse University of Illinois at Chicago campus.
