1999 USA-IHP conference summary

The International Health Interest Group provides medical students information about what it is like to work as a doctor abroad as well ashow one can experience health systems abroad as a student. Currently IHIG is planning on a lecture series that would present different world health issues, what doctors do abroad and how doctors work abroad. In addition, IHIG is working on setting up a program that will facilitate the process of international away rotations through the IHP/IFMSA organization. The International Health Interest Group (IHIG) has successfully established an exchange program here at the Chicago campus! We will have two information/application sessions during the month of January. I will show a presentation of how the program works, deadlines etc., and will be taking applications for the class of 2002,(bring your checkbook for a down payment).

M2's and M1's: These two info sessions are mainly for M3's, but you can guarantee this years price for an exchange in your M4 year if you begin an application now.

A world exhibition of all of IFMSA's projects and events which is planned to start after the project fair in Malta. It is planned
to travel through 10 different stations in 10 different big cities in Europe and end in Denmark for the 50th anniversary.
