The proposed listserv's primary focus is scholarly research and academic enhancement in the field of communication studies.
The listserv will focus on scholarly topics related to the study of communication, and attendant discources of culture, ehtnicity, race relations, immigration, civil rights and other concerns of the Latino/a community. Concentrating largely on North America, our purpose is to provide a space where La Raza Caucus membership, as well as other scholars interested in communication issues can exchange ideas and information.
We will publish news and announcements, including conferences, call for papers, book reviews, fellowship and grant opportunities, position descriptions, as well as guides to new resources, syllabi, bibliographies, and other scholarly materials.
