National Engineers' Week 2002
February 17 - February 23, 2002
   

Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, National Engineers Week is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. The National Engineers Week consortium includes more than 100 engineering, scientific, and education societies, and major corporations dedicated to increasing public awareness and appreciation of engineering. As part of this effort UIC celebrates National Engineers Week by offering a number of activities throughout the week. All events will be held on the UIC campus and are open to the general public. Events are free, except as otherwise noted.
E-week T-shirts! are now available for purchase. Back of the t-shirt features the "You might be an engineer if" list in silver print. The t-shirt can be viewed in the SEO elevator lobby. Price is $10.00, in sizes M, L, XL, and XXL. Please contact Lorena Rosas of SHPE for purchases.
