The Pre-Pharmacy Club is a pre-health professional student organization at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). The mission and scope of the UIC Pre-Pharmacy Club is to expose and socialize club members to the norms and values of the pharmacy profession. To this end, pre-pharmacy club members get to interact with college of pharmacy students and faculty members not just during their meetings but on an individual basis. Additionally, guest speakers from all areas of the pharmacy profession serve as guest speakers during club meetings. Because of these interactions, club members find the transition from their undergraduate to pharmacy school seamless and less isolating, and thrive not just academically but socially also.
