Established in 2007, AAPHD – SC’s mission is to have an organization that is closely affiliated with both the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Dentistry and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry.  We aim to promote programs and services to the underserved people of Chicago and to provide educational programs to the UIC community.

The vision of AAPHD – SC is to develop, operate and maintain a student-run dental clinic which provides dental care to the underserved community of Chicago and to foster school-wide participation in this endeavor.
