I am a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago, working on freight movements modeling, with a focus on modal selection. I am also a research assistant in Urban Transportation Center in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, involving in a nationwide freight study. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Kouros Mohammadian and also being co-advised by Dr. Kazuya Kawamura.
I have my Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Sharif University of Technology in Civil Engineering and Transportation Engineering, respectively. I worked on bus fleet assignment algorithms in the congested transit networks, under the supervision of Dr. Hedayat Zokaei-Aashtiani in my Master's dissertation.
