Volunteers Welcomed
Please contact me via email (bianno2@uic.edu) if you are a
hard-working, dedicated
individual interested in learning about ecological restoration,
biological invasions, soil-plant interactions, soil analysis, and/or
statistics. Additionally, feel free to contact
any
of the individuals on this web page to learn about their own
experiences
working with me.Volunteering is a
great way to familiarize yourself with the tools used by scientists and
to
introduce yourself to the wide range of questions being answered by
scientists.
Undergraduate
Research
Assistants
Undergraduates play
a vital role in many aspects of my research including the set up of
studies, collection
of field data, and processing samples back at the lab. I currently work
with
undergraduates from two institutions: my own institution, University of
Illinois at
Chicago (UIC), as well as the Environmental
Science
Program
at
DePaul
University, whom which I collaborate. Below are my past and current
research assistants.

of the assistants from DePaul
University's
Environmental
Science Program who have assisted with my research. Others who have
helped but are not shown are Ashley Dickerson, Samantha
Charlino,
and Jackie
Beard.
If you want to
learn more about the undergraduates from DePaul University that have
contributed to my research and the other research projects that they
are involved with check out the Heneghan Lab's facebook
site.
