Katherine's Research:
My interests focus on health psychology and specifically on disease prevention
and health promotion. I am also interested in the impact of culture on health.
In the past, I have worked with Dr. Tracy Sbrocco at Uniformed Services University
in Bethesda, MD on a NIH grant that studies Behavioral Treatment of Obesity
for African American women. Currently, I am working with Dr.
Bonnie Spring at UIC and hope to continue integrating my interests in promoting
healthy behavior and culture.
