I'm Not at School
When I'm not at
school, I love to go on adventures; camping, hiking, mountain biking,
and being outdoors regardless of the weather. I also volunteer at the
Brookfield Zoo's Hamill Family Zoo.
Books and music
are
my passion. I love rock and roll, I'll go out of my way to see a great
band play live, and I still buy records.I love spending time with friends and traveling, and jump at opportunities to blend the two together. I love visiting Minnesota, Rhode Island, California, and New York and the people who've made their homes there.
I'm a proud turtle mom, VanGogh is a Western Painted and a wildlife ambassador to grade schools. If I drive by turtle on the road, I have to stop and help, even if it means a trip to the vet.
And I LOVE coffee.

Releasing a rescued turtle back into the Mississippi River. "Barb" was found on the highway with a split shell and the vet surgically super glued her back together. Thank you Lizz and Aditi, and Companion Animal Care!
